The Original Genna
I majored in Creative Advertising and specialized in Design at Michigan State University. GO GREEN! After receiving my Bachelor's Degree in 2016, I went on to design brand identity, websites, print collateral, social media ads, trade show materials, constant contact and much more for dental companies around the globe. Although I'm nearly three years in, I'm not limited to the dental industry. I've also dipped my toes into press, apparel, residential and gaming to name a few.
I balance my freelance with personal creative work, like hand-lettering, illustration, learning ASL and being a voice for mental health. My future goal as a creative is to display weekly art, via social media accounts, discussing daily struggles from the perspective of the emotionally unavailable. Then incorporate these messages into large scale art—say murals? As a society, we need to talk and we need to talk now. Help me end the stigma!
My creative approach—no matter the medium—is to find balance within each project I’ve assigned myself to. I do several iterations of each design and usually end up refining the one I find most evolved. Ultimately, it’s about creating memorable images, but I create to see my art bring out the fire in my clients. I enjoy seeing my work ignite that spark because my passion is to help you pursue yours.
